The Early Years
Born and bred at Nuriootpa, South Australia in the heart of the Barossa Valley. Attended Nuriootpa Primary School and Nuriootta High School.

Occupations
Joined the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) at 16 as an Apprentice Ground Radio Technician.
The various postings were: RAAF School of Radio Laverton Victoria, Edinburgh RAAF Base South Australia, 2CRU RAAF Base Darwin Northern Territory, Joint Defence Facility Narrunga Woomera South Australa.

Whilst in the RAAF I managed to get a 14 week posting to the United States for a Satellite Communications course at Fort Gordon Augusta Georgia.
Several defence related projects like Jindalee OTHR at Alice Springs Northern Territory, Harold E Holt Naval Communications Station Exmouth Western Australia and ADSCS Geraldton Western Australia.

Currently own and run XLR Communications Pty Ltd in Geraldton Western Australia.
